Marie-Laure Coenjaerts is a Belgian mezzo-soprano with a rich and eclectic career. She has performed on prestigious stages such as the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie and the Royal Albert Hall, and collaborated with conductors such as Gabriel Garrido and Jean-Claude Malgoire. Founder of the ensemble Il Segreto delle Muse , she recorded a disc dedicated to Barbara Strozzi in 2024, released by Pan Classics. A committed teacher, she teaches operatic singing at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Mons and musical comedy at the LNB course in Paris. Her voice and sensitivity make her a unique performer, at the crossroads of theater and music.
